Can i suggest an ability to purchase a pack per week with the following enhancements

Suggest $5-7 for 

a) ability to schedule armies 
b) auto move gold and food to cities in red from closest cities with vans and resources > 400k
c) sms or email notification of attacks launches or diplo hits
d) prestige of XXX points added 


Stretch target
e) auto gathering within 10sq of a city


This would greatly add to the game enjoyment.

Lastly i would also suggest one week per month all movement speed is doubled for everyone

All of these are optional for players if you still want to wake up in the middle of the night to launch - go for it.
Food movement and gold again - you can still do it manually
sms - email notifications - most larger alliances already have this function would be nice to make it accessible to all

Nobody wants to send troops in the night or "feed" cities with gold and food. We do it (or not do it) because we are dedicated (or not) enough to the game. Which is fine - everybody should play the game how he/she likes it.

Your suggestions have 2 problems.
  • Its pay to win as you get a huge advantage compared to others if you pay it. Your suggestion would be mandatory for almost all players (PVP and tournament because of the troop sending feature, "feed" feature for almost everyone who is building up buildings and/or an army). Thus people who cannot afford it have a huge disadvantage.
  • At the moment a dedicated player that stands up at night or feeds cities has an advantage. Which is fine - after all you want something for the additional time spent and inconvenience you had. That would be gone with your changes. It wouldn't make a (big) difference if you login once a week, once a day or multiple times a day.
If a feature like this would be implemented i would probably quit the game. In my opinion there is no point in playing and investing time in a game if you can pay for (almost) everything. The "best" players would be the ones that pay most and not the smartest and/or most dedicated ones.

That sounds less like it would add to the game, more like it would just mean you could pay to not play the game.

I'm all for adding things to the game that automate very repetitive tasks such as gathering.  The minerals haven't moved may as well just have an auto harvest option.  

But I would put them behind the prestige account that already exists.  You could really get these features for free if you claimed the daily prestige.  

The schedule army one would be the only problematic one since some alliances pride themselves on being able to coordinate.  It would also boost the attacker advantage since the attack could be scheduled but the defense couldn't.

Out of the things mentioned thus far, I would agree that adding yet another layer of paying to the game would ultimately be bad. However the gathering of items on the "floor" on the map in some form or another could be sweet. 
Even a sub screen to the world map where items within 50-100sqaures of the selected town would be visible or sometjing along these lines.
Sure, a 3minute search in a maxed out world map radius would yield the same results (playing the game).

And imo the ability to shuffle resources around in an automsted way, would make maintaining these highly efficient setups really easy and give the people using it a massive advantage. 

The notifications things should be accessible to all yes. Right now the big and organised alliances have Slack set up with attack alert info, town movement info, etc. And is something the code and API system in the game allows for. If possible, that would be cool to have IN the game too.

About the opportunity of "Faction play" mode: AI factions can move from sq. to sq. without returning to home base... Will the devs amend rules and allow human players to message units in order to move them without the 'nostalgic' constraint?

It would be nice to add a new feature for armies, besides 'attack', 'occupy', 'raid':
'take prisoners'

Winner in the battle would get a (random?) number of prisoners, who could be exchanged for a ransom from players, or drafted into an army (NPCs and/or players)...

I sugest the only way to have prestige to be from an in game mekanism (A BULDING. QOUESTs OR something like that) but to  activete weekly use to have to pay real money. I believe this way almost everyone Will like to pay  plus it Will make the game to be more non pay to win.

Hellooo........

First off all best browser game ever.

What i like to suggest is what everybody likes is a way to speed up ..........tech. resourch..........how........... wel .... to make it more exiting is that prestige scroll or scrab or codex in the library speeds it up....... what is exiting ......they can be stollen or destroyd. .

like the more scrabs you have the faster the resourch , like the cheap wans have the most effect or even cheaper wans.

also i like that it woud be easyer to have faster and more city's to own . (about 100)

also the amount off billdings of each to cunstruct shud be limetles , like more market place meens more caravans more barracks more troops to preduce more taverns meens more quests more brewery more beer. and so on.

also .speed up diplomats and army with prestige and magic.

also like to see the Tenaril spell to create with magic.

like to see an magic spell that atracks NPC.

or drop animal parts around city to atrackt sertent NPC's , and recources.


well ...... that it for the moment.

like to see treasure  spots if you scout them like ....1000 rare minral or rare herb and  buildings with a couple thousend books or magic shards and essences.and a building full off armours bows swords spears.

like......... the ammound of spy s triggers secret rooms..

also i heard off the rare herb or rare minral....... spwanning .......on a spot off your choose....... like it can be won by an allaince....... like to see it don by a big magic spell.

Like to see a magic man to fight and open up a vault or summen creaters next to city's.....

like to see a slaugter building on sov. to slaugter cow and horses for food......also a milk/chees farm.

also like to see that expirience to be used for speeding up harvesters and upgrading army's.

and to transfer harvesters army and diplomats to other city's or towns.

Hi Relyges2. Thanks for those suggestions. Always nice to see.
I see a lot of problems with them though. Most of them don't really fit into the format that the game has and would cause unbalanced circumstances.

The magic spell that attracts a type of NPC seems to be quite interesting in my opinion but would still cause imbalance to the system implemented. Its up to the players to place towns at the locations where there are alligators, or black bears, etc..are located in order to kill them and harvest the anatomies.

The one with transferring troops.or diploes would be outright overpowered as someone could have military towns in the desert or forests 1000squares away from the main war and transfer those troops to the frontline and use. Seems wrong, right? 

Most of the suggestions just don't fit like I mentioned, however...

Treasure chests could work in one way or the other. I quite like that idea. We should discuss that one in a separate thread for treasure chests alone. My thoughts are this though: 
 How big should the guard be. How many treasure chests should be able to be on the map at the same time. What should the prizes be? Medals? Prestige scraps? T3 or T4 advanced crafted items? Shards? Essences? Etc.. imo it should be hard to defeat the guard and maybe then also find a key for the chest in surrounding terrain like Caves/Mines using thieves or one of the other diplo units sent to these locations to trigger the opening of the chest or gain access to fight the guard in the first place. Quite intriguing idea all in all :)

wood be nice if ..............claiming sov.on a grape field and build sommting that speeds up harvesting and sommting to dubbel up the field or a % off it..... also on rare herb and minrals.

deserted monnestary claim it and mana go's up.

own a lot off forest get a forest upkeeping off the King off Illyriad. (gold)

This is something we looked at in some detail whilst fleshing out an [unimplemented] Animal Mastery/Summoning school of magic.

The biggest problem we had was marrying an Animal Summoning school with the existing Nature AI systems (which deal with habitats/biomes etc) - ie the problem of Snow Leopards in the Equatorial Jungle etc. 

We did look at 'reducing the summons time' or 'increasing the summoned expense' if animals were being summoned out-of-habitat, but in the end we felt it was all a bit too complicated to express in a UI, simply to assuage our collective love of the 1982 film The Beastmaster LOL

I think this is a very interesting idea, and would love to get some further thoughts.

My thoughts are that if a treasure chest system were to be implemented, incorporating it into the existing faction patrols make sense- it gives them something to patrol for. 

Each faction should then drop things related to their race/faction; shards and essences of attributes that correspond to the faction such as fortitude and protection for dwarf factions, crafted equipment in small quantities, wine from trading factions, crafted horses from factions like the apaxu which are know for horse riding. 

Under this, treasure chest may be the wrong term, but instead something like faction shipment.

If/when faction AI fully is released, attacking these shipments could be worked into faction standings.

I'm spending much of this month on things Faction, and I think this is "totes amazeballs awesomesauce", as I believe the youth of today might have it.

Support random chest drops. Might work best if done rarely, advance notice to build up excitement, and in connection with a game event such as an anniversary, special tourney, seasonal change, or lunar event. Has there ever been an eclipse (except when the system went down for upgrades?)

Also, would be great to get something interesting from factions - especially rare gear, minerals, and herbs where they are mentioned in connection with a faction in game lore

  An alliance stash / inventory in hubs can be great. 
  Authorized member can send, take or trade to alliance stash. Leaders have more power.
  An 2001 web game had guild inventory.

Id be fine with the intermittant ability to do these things the OP said.  Its not pay2win as it simply makes it so that you dont have to check in so much.  None of it is gamebreaking, its just convenience.  Making research and/or speeding of training IS P2W. 

I would also like Reylges to learn what the "edit" button is for.

The attraction of NPCs is a completely gamechanging thing as far as im concerned.  Ive completely set up my alt to react to the current situation to get the best NPCs and such a spell would change the game so much.

Ive done the "treasure chest" suggestion before in the guise of superpowerful NPCs that drop rare loot.  Something like where there would be only one of the special NPC groups on the entire map at a time...leading to people searching the map for it and it being an actual rare event worth something.  The problem with Illy right now is that there is way too much of everything, the last equip rollout helped, but there really isnt much of anything thats worth a ton anymore because everything is so common.
