Oh my but there is a lot here. Going to take me awhile to make heads or tails of all of this. From the large number of topics and posts here I guess that I can assume the game is healthy & will be around for awhile?
Yes, if you cant tell I'm brand new and trying to get a handle on things. Any advice for the new dwarf in town?

Reghar lower your tax to 1-2 % do the tutorial and read some on the forum. Then find an alliance.

Did the tax thing & did the tutorial. In fact, I've been busy building up my town and scavanging the free resources that pop on the map. As for alliances & such will be reading the stuff here & trying to figure out who is who.

| Reghar; First, let me welcome you to Illyriad. Concerning alliances, I am the leader of Federation of Freedom, and I highly recommend FDU to newcomers. Shrapnel is an excellant leader and FDU has lots of helpful information for newcomers. |

thats very true, im not in FDU, but ive heard alot of good things about them. i also know shrap, hes a good guy and runs a good alliance. is pretty cool too, so ya, alot of people would recemed FDU if you ask on global. |

Or if hyu want sometink a bit more fun, hyu can try and join da slaves (StA, Slaves to Armok). ^vvv^ Ve aren't actively recruitink, really, but we are villink to take people in who are interested. FDU is a pretty goot group, doh. But still, look around a bit before hyu make hyus decision. |
