I have not been able to login to Illyriad for the past 24 hours with either of my two accounts (Steam, regular Illy account)? I have tried different browsers, different computers with different operating systems including Window, IOS, Linux.  

The big problem is that I can't even get to the point of trying to enter my credentials as some elements of the Illy homepage including the login button don't load correctly, not allowing me to login.  

I also tried to use the Illy Steam App within Steam and it loads the Illyriad splash screen and then gives me a message that it can't reach Illy servers? I live in Canada (for what it is worth).  

I also tried pinging the Illyriad website but it comes back as unreachable.  

I also tried using cellular network to circumvent possible broadband Internet filtering with Internet provider but the main Illy page still does not load properly? 

Any ideas?   

Noticed the last 48hrs the games been acting weird also and when you do get in its broken images.

Are you in North America as well?

Someone from my alliance was complaining about a month ago that he wasn't able to get in either I just told him to make a ticket or write on the forum.

Its just weird cause sometimes it let's me log in the last three days then the majority of the time its broken images and doesn't matter which device im using cell phone, desktop, laptop and doesn't matter if im using mobile data or my home's wifi. 

The forum is run by a company that does forums. Different servers, I think.

I suggest going to the discord and complaining there. I'm not on discord, but my sense is that the devs respond more quickly over there.

Just keep trying and stay logged in.

First off, Rill is correct: Our game servers are located in the US mainland, whereas our forum is located in the UK. 

Second, after a thorough check, we've uncovered no server or connectivity issues on our end -- Illyriad is running as normal. 

We agree that it does appear that the reports of incidents have been associated with accounts in Canada. This is just our theory, but It might be that Canada is having issues with some connectivity to the US backbones (but not the UK), which is why people in Canada can access the forums but not the game.

Once traffic leaves our datacentres heading to a client somewhere in the world (and vice versa) it is routed as the internet sees fit to route it, and is something that we have no control over, and so cannot do anything about.

We did notice this morning that Telus is having issues across large swathes of Canada. This seems to connect with recent news that Canada has experienced significant internet disruptions affecting access to major U.S.-hosted websites (driven by reliance on centralized cloud services). One of these just happened with Cloudflare on February 20, 2026, when the platform experienced a significant, six-hour global service outage, including disruptions in Canada, caused by an internal configuration error in its Addressing API. 

Could this issue still be sending aftershocks for web users in Canada? We don't know, but either way, our sense is that this likely a local/regional issue with Canada. If the issue persists, I'd suggest that affected players contact their ISPs for more information. Feel free to keep this forum thread updated and we'll be sure to monitor it.

I'd also try clearing cookies in your brower, and/or trying a private browser to see if it helps.
