I think he misread the insta build and increase production options one has if they use prestige.

May you tell exactly what you mean? you don't have to pay to complete buildings it just makes it fast.

I am shocked that I now must purchase the ability to build anything in Illyriad.

This essentially ends my competition in the game since it will be 'won' by those who pay the most for it. It's not fair at all to those who don't have the resources to compete.

You might instead have considered more giving more prestige priviledges instead of this heavy-handed money grab.

I joined this game believing that it was a fair game open to all, and not just a playground for those who had big wallets.

Please explain.
