Has anyone with the tentacles growing been successful in reaching a fortuneteller since this started? It would be interesting to see if they get a different message now.

My guess is that the strength of the attack on the city will depend on the number tentacles spawned.

I have 4 tentacles now, its impossible to block them all in, since most my armies were at Karak Drak waiting for the attack that the FT has been warning about for months...and that town is mostly isolated from my other 16 cities.
This will really be dumb, and a huge waste of time and resources, if the whole part of the quest is to block the tentacles from getting to a certain number. |

update: It seems some people now have a 4th tentacle! it is currently 4:27 and I have no idea when in the last 10 hours it appeared because I was not watching... In other news, it looks like normal (fishable) lakes may also block tentacles. Note: I am just summarising what I see happen to other people's towns (sorry if this is impolite... I just wanted to make sure anything about the mystery I could see by looking around the map was recorded for posterity). My two tentacles are still currently surrounded and not expanding. 4 sets of 5 tentacles escaped. Corrupted squares around cities are appearing 1 a day... so perhaps the next thing to happen (maybe an actual attack) will be on the 4th or 20th day. Or perhaps if we trap the current tentacles from growing for some number of days, something will happen. |

I have an elemental reinforcing someone else on a tentacle. I am pretty sure I also made an attack with an elemental that didn't see anything to attack, either. |
