I'm not an elf but it seems right that they would be limited and incapable of using tools that the other races find to be valuable.  Send all elves to http://elgea.illyriad.co.uk/#/World/Map/-994/-824 for further analysis.

Never mind. After playing around a bit I discovered Elves can't use plate mail but can make it and send it to Dwarves who can use it. Right?

What uses Heavy Plate mail? I don't see anything as an elf.

There is no requirement for plate armor, for example, to build Elven marshals. Does that mean I cannot equip them with crafted heavy plate armor?

If it takes plate to build a troop type then that same type can wear crafted plate.

As an Elf I cannot seem to equip my various troops with Plate Armour. What troop uses Plate Armour as an Elf, if any?
