I'd like to petition an IP ban on Dorcish/ukunamata/Juju Juice/who?/huh?/lowlow/<insert the dozens of alt he created to troll GC here>



This situation has persisted for several months now, and this week marked one of the worst. The individual in question has been resorting to name-calling, abandoning accounts when muted and creating another account for trolling, and using profanity towards almost every GC participant. These actions are well-documented in the logs.

Moreover, he has taken it a step further by forming temporary alliances and declaring war on numerous other alliances. While these actions were initially irritating, I now find myself feeling sympathy for him. Lift off this man's burden and lingering attachments, IP ban him from the game.

at this point I have to agree, he is basically RS level except unlike RS he is on the game and in the chat 24/7, banning him would do him a service

Banning someone for not agreeing with what they say, or because you deem it offensive, while it stays within the boundaries of the rules seems rather extreme.
That being said, I would not categorize what Dorcish is doing as that. Blocking him won't work as he will abandon and then reappear. He doesn't try building cities or armies etc. I don't want to see anyone banned, but I have to agree in this case.

I find this annoying as well, but I don't think people should be banned based on other people's negative perceptions of them. This person is clearly violating community guidelines, and action might be merited for that reason. However, it's also very easy just to block in chat.
