And as for people carrying over aggression, I seem to remember a certain H player joining in on the Curse / Roller affair early on.

I've no idea what the curse/roller thing is so I wouldn't know about that lol

Also you may want to consider the fact that most of the people on here have 2 accounts, and a few have registered on the forums under their secondaries, so really it does not matter whether you use your ingame name or not.

Of course I know who you are ingame. I wasn't commenting on you specifically - I was just making the point that I disagree that people using the same name on the forum as ingame is 'unimaginative' and infact quite the reverse. Some of the least imaginative and most illiterate trolls I've come across all tend to hide their in-game identity - unsurprisingly.

I personally think that people automatically take posters a little less seriously when they don't know who they are ingame as a knee jerk reaction.

True and glad that at least you were not confused by my forum name being the 'voice' of my in game name.

Lorre, has always been an advocate for the new player.  He instituted the care packages for new players. Anyone who played for even a little while, would see Lorre in GC actively helping and advising the new players.

So, rather than understanding Lorre's passion and frustration in trying to help a new player being targeted by one of your members. VALAR responded with animosity toward Lorre.  The climate of hate and propaganda that Azriel claim's Lorre perpetrated against VALAR was returned tenfold by VALAR against Lorre and PA.   And ever so exemplified in the recent conflicts as the battle cry of VALAR seems to be primarily: because Lorre is involved.

Anjire,

you are way off the mark.

That was not the first act of aggression from Lorre against VALAR and we did NOT return what he did to us tenfold.

The whole Berberos affair, which in the eyes of the VALAR was actually the 'Duq affair' would have been sorted as soon as AZ had sorted his RL problems out and returned, were it not for Lorre's intervention.

You should know this very well yourself considering what you know Duq did and how he was swiftly dealt with as soon as we had faught of Lorre's campain.

As we said all along throughout that period, if Lorre backed off it would be resolved, so if Lorre was really makjng a stand for a newbe, then why did he make the resolution of the matter impossible?

He was not even willing to lay off for 1 day, to see if we would resolve the case.

Lorre had previously tried to vilify the VALAR over other matters, and had even contacted us previously in an attempt to get us to war with H.  When he attacked Duq, he stated he had grown tired of the game and was ready to leave, I beleive that he was merely looking for a blaze of glory, one which the VALAR were not willing to give him.  Hence us not attacking him dirrectly.

I am not sure how Lorre's intervention slowed the issue.  It took the coordination of several top alliances to clear out any sieges, surround Berberos' city with troops to prevent a siege from setting up,  and further send supporting troops to fortify Berberos' city.  This intervention took over a week to set up before attacks from _duQ ended for a time being.  That, I would hope is more than enough time to resolve an issue or at least make a public statement regarding it - and yet it didn't happen, did it?

The "_duQ Affair" as you put it, was only dealt with due to extraneous actions instigated by _duQ completely unrelated to Berberos.  VALAR took no action on behalf of Berberos and further failed to clean up their "_duQ" affair leaving him to the community to deal with.

And, yes I was intimately involved in the initial defense of Lorre/ PA vs. the unprovoked aggression of Zork/Bork/Infestion/Spirit/Roller et al.  Once Lorre and PA's cities were safe, and renewed attacks were not forth coming for several days, my forces were recalled and my involvement was just to keep up to date as to the happenings.

Further, my involvement was not because I "dislike Zork/Borg/Infestion/Spirit/Roller et al" (although, after their GC displays and reading their responses to some prominent community members, I can honestly say that I dislike them now) it was to help a friend, unlike VALAR's current involvement which is simply "because we dislike Lorre."

Because he decided to take a dirrect attack against a VALAR member and claim that the VALAR 'must' do what he demanded.  As we made clear at the time, we were ready to take action in regard to duq but on our own grounds, not down to the demands of some drama queen

No because Lorre would not back off from his aggresion toward the VALAR along with his warmongering for other alliances to join him against us, and as we stated at the time we were ready to take action on our grounds, not under some pathetic threat from Lorre.

The the duq affair was dealt with because we finally faught off Lorre and his allies, at that point when duq realised he could not instigate an alliance war with PA he turned his attention to you, however the decision to kick him had already been made, we were merely waiting for Lorre's aggression to end so that we did not look like we were backing down to Lorre.

This matter was clearly defined by the VALAR at the time, the whole senario would have been avoided if Lorre had not intervened.

Since when is attacking someone who has joined in a war against you 'unprovoked'???

And for good reason.

However I am not sure what any of this has to do with the fact about PA being leaderless and what they should do about that issue.

Infact I have no clue why you brought up the duq/berberos matter.

Hopefully a PA representative can address the concerns over this soon.

But are you hinting that berberos would have been safe even if Lorre or Createure had not helped him? That Valar would have stopped the siege on Berberos even if no one from the community had intervened?

Since I seem to know roller/spirit better than most of the players in this game... I would like to know why Valar decided to even back him and his friends up?  We all know it is because you dislike Lorre...  That is the only reason why you were even involved in this matter.

Do you actually think that roller/spirit and his friends are loyal to you right now?  They do what they need to right now to get by...  I know all about roller/spirits temper and how often he sat for his friends.  Roller was/is  a very active player and his friends were not at all.  I am pretty sure roller spent more time on their toons then they did themselves.

I guarantee that the skull and bones players will rejoin again and take out their enemies.  This is their pattern and I know this will happen.

Lorre was just taking action on them.  This game does not need multi-account abusers in this game.

Roller/spirit was the only reason why I left Curse.  He is the biggest reason why my cities got sieged and destroyed.  Your fellow member, Victor, tried to help me.  And for whatever dumb reason I wonder why he is helping roller/spirit right now...

Victor, like I, and now roller, knows what it feels like to leave Iduna's alliance.  Iduna will not let you leave and will try her darn-est to siege a former player out of the game.  I am sure Victor told you this since there were plans set to siege Victor out of the game for defending me.

I got so tired of roller/spirits temper in the alliance.  I did not like how he treated some of the members at all.  He acted like a spoiled brat.  He would threaten to siege some members over some petty things.  Roller was beginning to act a lot like Ottar.  All he did  was kiss up to Iduna to gain favor over me.  Which I might add was brilliant...  His temper tantrums would lead to him leaving the alliance.  Since he was mad at me, I decided to leave the alliance so he would rejoin.  And perhaps on a later date I would rejoin again when he cooled off.  I was nice and wanted Roller to rejoin Curse for the good of the alliance I thought at the time.  Selfless, yes I was indeed selfless by looking out for his best interest over mine and in the end I got nothing in return. I decided to do my own thing and take a break from his drama.

However, in the end, I realized who Iduna really is/was.  I know now, I made a mistake in the beginning even joining that alliance.  So, roller in a sense did me a favor.  I will not forget what he did and nor will I forgive.  The same can be said about Iduna and Selissa.

Roller, let me ask you this?  Don't you feel a little used and abused now after all help you did for Curse and here they are sieging you?  All the money spent on prestige to help players grow.  How does that saying go?  Karma is a *itch!

Iduna, let me ask you this?  Don't you feel a little ashamed that this is the 2nd of your most loyal players that you are/have sieged out of the game.  Two players, Roller and I, that have done more than any other member in your alliance. Does any member in Curse actually think they are void of getting the same thing?

I am kind of torn right now... Do I want some of the members of Curse to get sieged or do I want roller and his friends?

So here I am a spy now.  A player that was taken to school in the politic department.  A player that has learned from those episodes.  A player that will not make the same mistake again.

I was wondering why this question hasn't come up yet. Direct it to Az, why he chose to make a derogatory comment about PA's founder in this thread -

I think a PA representative did address the concerns by posting the recruitment thread.  I think it suggests that they have decided to go ahead with the current situation and/or are working on resolving it internally.

Further, I question your want to have the concern as you see it actually addressed over your glee in jumping on a perceived opportunity to discredit PA and/or Lorre.

That is all....

As I have said we were ready to kick duq, I was the sitter on his account and found a number of mails in his sent box where he was trying to create anymosity against our alliance as he himself had decided to go down in a blaze of glory and was intending to take the alliance down with him.

Berberos was not the only newbe he was bullying and he was doing so to try and bring alliances against us which he succeeded in doing in the case of Lorre.
