The term schadenfreude comes to mind ... whatever Lorre has going on, I imagine that his alliance mates have made a decision to continue in his footsteps.  To their credit.

Agree with Gratch in that just because a leader of a founder leaves there is no need to all up sticks and join or become a new alliance. Sometimes the departure of a leader can make an alliance even stronger than it was before.

Just one point though Gratch.... Were you calling Lorre a Queen? LOL

Apologies for the off subject observation.

On a serious note and if you are new to Illyriad and looking looking through the recruitment forum at the moment for an alliance {PA} is a great place to start, with good leaders who are very helpful with advice and resources.

However, Lorre is still the leader of that alliance, which makes being in that alliance pointless if he is no longer playing and still in control of the alliance as the leader (afk).

I do think it is fine to continue an alliance when a leader has left only if the leader has left the alliance or promoted someone to take his or her place.  None of these have happen yet, so either wait a month to see if he comes back or find a new alliance.

Doesn't look good... doesn't look bad either!

If in fact Lorre has left the game....  Then why is he still the leader of the alliance?  This makes me think he is not leaving the game and perhaps is only taking a break for a bit.  However, if he has in fact left the game for good, there is no reason to be in alliance when a player that has left the game is still the leader.  An alliance needs that position to be active to do diplomacy and control member options.

So Dark was right, if he has in fact left the game, why not create a new alliance with the same players so you can use the leader position for use... Or better yet, contact Lorre so he can promote someone.

Are you questioning artorious's qualifications as a leader, Darkwords?  He seems like a capable player to me.

When an alliance leader gives up on the game without electing a new leader, shouldn't the alliance members look elsewhere?
