I think Geofrey got a point on this, and the issue is already on developer's list.
It will be fixed. Case closed.

Hm.... If small amount of catapults is sent so storage capacity does not max out, actually prestige quick building could work even with blockade, since you salvage resources from destroyed buildings...
I saw this strategy when Finnnnnn tried to save his city, but 80 catapults is just too much and in one hit warehouse was down by 4 levels...

Someone who is burning that 90 prestige an hour (along with Kumo's previous comment and not even considering the res input) will be spending about 40 pounds per day just to continue to hold onto the city, so you should really feel proud Geoffrey because you are hurting them so much more than you had initially intended to lol

Even without blockade, after the second or third day of siege when the accuracy is way up, you will be losing 30 building levels per hour. I know of no alliance that could resupply for prestige build against that for very long... It's simply a beast...

Yes. But the problem is there was a reason we attempted to siege, and it wasn't to laugh.

I dont get it, i have sieged active towns, never used blockade dont understand the need for it..
blocking a few res drops who cares with 20 trebs any town would fall within 36 hours of arriving, maybe 48 if its a press user and they focus solely on pop buildings.
Have fun sieging, but i do understand that not being a orc might be your biggest problem :D |
with prestige an alliance can instant supply a town, and instant build in a city. this requires the alliance or player to use large amounts of prestige, so most people don't do it. However, that doesn't mean players can't do it. By performing this prestige supply & build strategy, a city can constantly increase it's population, regardless of the number of catapults.
the only way to prevent instant supply & instant build, is to cut off the resources. That is where blockades come in.
