Clan Guardsmen and Clanguards have caused me more than one headache. I lost count of how many times I built a stack of one instead of the other.

I'm happy with orc units including kobolds and goblins -- perhaps they work together, or the orcs enslave them. They might also include hobgolins, ogres, trolls, etc. I do think, though, that "clanguard" and "clan guardsmen" are too close, and I wouldn't mind seeing more "orcish" titles than "Fist" and "Fang", although what counts as "more orcish" is a bit slippery in Illy. :)

Me agrees whit Calico_Jack.
  Kobolts are not only weakling and skinning like elfs ( but still, better looking than elf's) but are also not Orc's.
If a Orc village would have kobolts on it , it would be so just in case there's low stock on elf's to eat.

that saying, goblins are not much better, but since they would be used was cannon fodder, i wouldn't  mind so much to see goblins piking up the spears and getting smashed by the other races cavalry, giving room to us, true (orc) warriors do our thing.(slash and crush the enemy). 

anyway..
- Goblins has T1 spears would be better.
- T2 spears. Clan guardsmen... mybe not the best name...
- Fang would be Orc Grunt ( like Calico_jack says)
- Fist, i actually like the name fists.. so Fist or Orc Warrior its ok by me : P
- Clanguards ... Clan Hunters?
- Death Dealers its ok to by me.
- Wolfriders are cool. ( but shoul be riding giant Wolfs?.. but that would get complicate to see in the market an trade of a "riding" wolf to another race..
- DeathPack OR Warg Riders, both are cool.

Perhaps it is the race name that needs to be changed.  You could consider Humans, Elves, and Dwarves to be families of races, encapsulating more specific related races like Asians or Mongolians, Bosmers or Dark Elves, and Leprechauns or Hobbits.  In that case, the playable race name Orc should be changed into something that encapsulates Orcs, Goblins, and Kobolds.  It could even be a whole new word, though that might be hard to sell so early in the game as choosing your race while signing up an account.

Personally I like the Orc names.

And my understanding was also Goblins are a different species than Orcs in general fantasy lore.

That's generally true...just lookin' for alternatives that involve less disruption of existing terminology. :P

I think in Illy lore the kobolds, goblins and orcs are collectively referred to as greenskins.
