   Hi all,

There are two new public MODerator appointments today.

These two MODs will assist in moderating the public chat channels ingame as well as the forums themselves.  

Please join me in welcoming  MOD Legatus
 and MOD Drake to the Illyriad team.

Note: 

We appoint Moderators from within the permanent Illyriad team - but also
 from within the playerbase itself.

There is no application process as such, but if you consistently show yourself to be:

active ingame,
level-headed,
possessed of common sense,
interesting - and interested,
a good judge of
 character,
fair,
tolerant,
mature, and 
wise ... then you too have a serious
 chance of being asked to join our excellent MOD team.

Please also note that player MODs never see any additional personal details about players, player towns, petitions or any other ingame activity from player.  Their ingame interface is identical to everyone else's with the exception of their different-coloured text and their ability to silence people in ingame public chat channels.  Forum Moderators have, in addition, the ability to edit, delete and lock threads in the forums.
