[/QUOTE wrote: Actually trade units can go there and harvest.  Just an extra step over sending scouts or armies.  As you noted, diplomatic units and armies can be sent to hellmouths using the method you mention.  To send trade units simply use the method and send diplomatic units or an army.  Once sent, access the movements page for the units you just sent and click of the link to the square you sent them to.  You'll get the popup menu giving you access to sending harvesters.  Once you send the harvesters you should still be able to recall the diplomatic units or army you sent.

I was just scrolling through my notifications for an entirely unrelated matter, and I discovered that Count Rupert sent me 19 Hearts of Darkness, shortly after I posted the above message. This was doubly unexpected, because Count Rupert and I don't know each other, and I hadn't asked anyone for Hearts of Darkness. If I hadn't scrolled so far down, I would never have learnt to whose generosity I owe my "Slayer of Kerberos V" medal.

The way I see the event running is that Underworld Armies will be forever available to us now. The resource they drop, Hearts of Darkness, will become useable in the near future for whatever. Bonuses to alliances attack/defense strength, gold income, or whatever. You will need a specific amount of Hearts to achieve these bonuses within the alliance and alliances should be farming the hell out of these right now to be able to be some of the first to get the bonuses and therefore an advantage over their foes.

So yes, I think you will be able to move your HoD's around till you quit. However, I am not sure :) This is speculation.

You actually can send trade units to havest HoD's; I've done it twice now at the same Hellmouth of Woe.
