Missing 8 Days of The Deep Reconnaissance Mission

Your argument makes sense based on the speeds of the Kartur-Hhakral, but would they necessarily move at that speed. I would think that the group as a whole would move at a slower pace. They would have supplies and such they would need to carry cross the wild, I would think that the group would move at a pace similar to siege engines, heavy carts pulled by oxen. Even though they don't discuss it, there would need to be stops for repairs, foraging and the like. Like many things in Illy, some things are off. I'm guessing the devs weren't thinking about the holes in the faction lore, but just trying to get content out there. Although it does seem weird to leave gaps like this in some of them, other than maybe they didn't think it was important or just made an error
