Below is a link for a Google Shared document. It is a spreadsheet for a prototype list of resources of rare minerals. Listing where and what they are. It is my hope everyone will contribute their knowledge for all to make use of.

Suggestions are more than welcome. The initial data comes from Fremorn’s website (http://arcanum-illyria.com/wiki/Fremorn#Registry_of_Mines).

The Google doc is located here.

Let me know what you think.

Well you could list:

who has troops on the mine.
how many troops/what types.
what alliance they are in.
what confeds that alliance has.
how big is the alliance and confeds.

then people could sort on type of mine; distance; and effort and pick the easiest and most convenient mine to steal...

I suspect you will get very little if any responce. I certainly won't be sharing info like that. These things are a hassle enough to protect as it is.

I agree. There was a reason that data wasn't shared in the rarity thread. I suspect many consider their mines sensitive information and would consider it a violation of confidence or even a hostile act if you were to publish it...

Oh, I won't be surprised if people don't share but as most of the resources are protected via armies I don't really see that there is much added danger here.

What I was hoping is maybe this would open up trade negotiations in some form or another. I don't know how this would necessarily be accomplished but I thought it would be interesting to try. Maybe people could agree to swap encampments or something.

It isn't much loss effort if folks don't add to it so no worries.

Well the intent isn't to promote stealing but rather trade options and general knowledge but thanks for the suggestions.

Hmm, interesting.  One of the draws of this game is that players share information and generously so.  Do we really want the tone of game to change over squabbles over resources?
