Wise words my old friend. Hopefully I won't turn into that I most despise and if I look like turning to the 'dark side' I would hope my friends would quickly drag me back to the light

Well, that's the funny thing about turning to the dark side, you're always certain you haven't.
As an aside, I hate when people use that quote or some variation thereof, it's never relevant.

STEEL has 13 confederates. Surely if they are having problems with NC they'd call in their allies? Then it'd be 13 against 1...I'm not sure how you get bullying of the 13 out of that equation. - M.

Why would parking your army in someone else's town be treated differently than parking it anywhere else on the map (like on rare res, for example)? The overwhelming sentiment I get in that regard, especially from established players, is that you do so at your own risk?

I think it's certainly your prerogative to join the conflict if you feel strongly about the outcome but I don't understand your comments here. Are you saying that your army's presence in Gim's city was a coincidence? Was it a role-playing thing and you were caught off guard by the attacks? Why didn't you send a messenger to recall your armies once NC declared war on STEEL?
or are you saying it was NC's responsibility to make sure that there were no neutral troops stationed in a city before attacking it? That seems rather extraordinary; it would mean that all conflicts could be stopped by having a third party send reinforcements.
I see no moral problem with you entering the conflict because you feel the reasons given for the war were insufficient but your claims regarding your rights as a neutral third party confuse me.

You put troops in a city that another alliance is at war with. Then cry when your troops are killed. Moreover why is this even on the forums. Let the two alliances fight it out. If one side or the other manages to get help good for them. But honestly I am sick and tired of anytime one alliances attacks another or one player attacks another and one side starts losing their immediate reaction is to go cry on the forums for help.
Go die and leave the rest of us in peace and stop clogging the forums with threads like these.
