Whether distractions or misdirection. The Tournaments have been held and the Codex, Faction histories and other items of history or lore have been published. They cannot be ignored and there should no room for complacency. 

Similarly articles in The Herald that, at first sight appear innocuous, may hold important information. I may be wrong, but it seems to me that the method of communication between the GM's on the one hand and the gaming community on the other has changed and instead of direct updates we are now moving towards an unfolding narrative that reflects the world of Illyriad.

The GMs will still be giving full updates on gameplay additions, technical changes as well as being involved in general communication. However, events in the world, content and lore are more than likely to be hinted at and left for the players to discover and eventually shape themselves... This forum detects it as a spelling error, I have heard tale that a lot of the player community "follows the forum to the letter" Thus, a spelling error detected by the forum.
