I'm sorry, did you just complain about how much the war you willingly declared has cost you, and then in the same post accuse the alliance you declared it on of both being willing participants and whining about war damage? I must have misread that. I must have. Because you surely wouldn't have attached a plea for alliance invites to the end of such an obviously absurd post. Regardless, I don't believe the purpose of war reparations is to completely cover the costs of a war, it's really more a symbolic thing. I can also see why having to let you take one town is an objectionable term, it's really just a slap in the face to an already defeated foe.

And the fact that we've already lost three towns and had two reduced to rubble, wasn't enough as a deterrent...?
If at any stage you guys had just said, hey guys, we don't want this war, we would have stopped, but you were willing participants, so don't cry about compensation.
Your like the guy who drinks to much then whines about how hard it is to function with a hangover.
BAM!!
Mag - Ex LWO'er. (looking for a new home, please send alliance invites)

The point was to offer surrender terms that were generous enough to give LWO the opportunity to end the hostilities, but not so generous as to constitute an invitation to every other alliance that is "bored" to test out their war machine on us.

Maybe that was the point.

Ahhh.... Don't know what the new offer is but I know what most of us didn't like about the last one. it's not the sort of thing that can be divided up 58 ways.........!

ouch.
i thought we were mates, you and me, thatkindaorc...
maybe you should use your intra-alliance communication methods to give skull a wee push, because we are, honestly, waiting on the list of towns...
waiting patiently i might add, so don't trip on the power cable in your hurry to contact him.
 <---- LWO!! shaken, not stirred.

Once again, one feels the need to remind the general populace that Magnificence's persona in this little drama has no compulsion to tell the truth.
