I'm a trainee in the University, and I'm really impressed with the way everything is set up democratically! Love this Alliance! LONG LIVE THE REPUBLIC!

Im speaking for Zolvon here, due to the fact he does not frequent the forums.
We had a skuffle with the BSH con-fereracy, and dropped from 22nd on the alliance ranking to well back in the pack. The plan was and still is to reform at some stage, but that's an aside. LWO's style of governance wasn't designed to be anarchic. The premise was representative democracy, ie every member holds an equal share of the power, although there was no structure to how decisions were made, it worked well. It's also similar to the way that SHADE is run, and again apart from some minor tensions on the odd occasion it makes for very enjoyable game play. It's good to see an alliance trying something different, all the best with it Janosh. ![]() (EDIT: the LWO ticker is now 'Laugh') Edited by Magnificence - 19 Oct 2012 at 00:09 |

Having no structure at all sometimes is more difficult than having precast ones...
Predicting how models work out is impossible, as all depends on the members and the circumstances. In most other browser games, oligarchic or single leader alliances make up the mayority. But as Illyriad is different in any aspect, best wishes to both systems

We are currently designing a new defence program in the Republic Legion to learn how to maintain up to 100,000 units in each of your cities. Players loyal to the cause of the republic are very welcome. Size and power of TOR are increasing constantly. TOR will be a power of the future! We invite particularly experienced players from both sides of the war to leave behind the terror of the current Trove War and rebuild in a neutral, friendly and chat active environment.
