Large map - pinnable, taggable.

   I'd like a large world map, zoomable and pinnable (lovely HTML5!)
Pins can be visible to "just me", or "just my alliance", and each would have a text box, possibly some searchable tags.

If you want this to be a bit more advanced, then allow the creation of 'annotation sets', each annotation set can be made visible or hidden on the map (the scheme used for visibility of Alliance Towns on the World Map would be suitable way of selecting them). Permissions would then belong to the annotation sets.

This feature could go a long way:
More ambitious would be the drawing of polygons for shaped annotations.
With "public" annotation sets, one could publish unique IDs in the forums or chat, and illustrate regions or sets of points on the map.
