I hope that this peace arrangement will last. I am no longer involved with either alliance but I was a member of Havoc for some time as was Baughb, StJude and Gaius so I know all the main protagonists pretty well.
All of the Havoc and KT players were new to Illyriad and had no realisation of the influence politics of GC and the overwhelming desire of some bigger players to enhance their reputations by involving themselves in the affairs of newbes. This time it seems that peace has resulted from their involvement. That will not always be so for they are a fickle bunch "these big players".
I urge ALL havoc and ~KT~ members to maintain a low profile for awhile especially with each other and if there are any accidental incidents such as caravan bumping etc, to resolve them sensibly.
Good Luck and Best wishes to you all

I hereby agree to the terms and conditions posted by Daufer of Bearclaw. The war between Havoc Unleashed and Knights Templar is fininshed. All shenannigans towards Havoc unleashed will cease immediately. I am dispatching messengers to recall the sieging armies at Bearclaw in the hopes that Amroth hasnt destroyed it already.

Per agreements hashed out in Global chat in front of countless witnesses, to be enforced by AmrothAnguireal and/or The_Dude and/or anyone else who feels like wiping both alliances off the map if we don't settle down, hostilities between the alliances Havoc Unleashed and Knights Templar are ended as of Saturday 23 July, 2011, apart from any diplomatic or military attacks already in motion which cannot be recalled, and the removal of the siege encampment outside the city of Bearclaw. Havoc Unleashed acknowledges the military superiority of Knights Templar, who built a stronger army and would have destroyed or captured cities if veterans had not come to our assistance. We could not have broken their siege without help. Neither alliance surrenders. Neither alliance is required to give up territory or pay reparations. In the interests of the Illyriad community and of a desire for peace expressed by members of both alliances, we are agreeing to stop military operations, offensive magic and hostile diplomacy and return to status quo. No new attacks are to be launched and both alliances will agree not to harrass each other and annoy the community further. As a guarantee of good behavior, both parties agree to a NAP for a minimum of 30 days. Knights Templar have deposited 20,000,000 gold with The_Dude, to be paid to the injured party if hostilities resume during the 30 days. The NAP may continue after 30 days if both parties agree. Daufer of Bearclaw, Diplomat and Administrator of Havoc Unleashed to be ratified by Baughb of Knights Templar

Would this peace arrangement include the immediate stop of all attack, including, but not limited to, troops, diplomats and magic? Would it cease all spying by KT on Havoc whether by planted people in Havoc or accessing peoples accounts (with or without that person's permission?) Would it end public, and private, harassment and defamation? Would it end having allies hitting Havoc cities with diplomats or worse?
As a member of Havoc, I would be happy for this conflict to end. I'm tired of the stress involved, particularly being defamed. Going back to joking with my alliance friends with no worry about any of the above would be fantastic. However, there is a major issue called trust.
As for "Gaia's" support of this, he has been accused of hacking a former alliance member's account to gain access to Havoc AC. I have seen a copy of the "Gaia" account being listed as a sitter for that player.
This forum post, while promising, will not solve the problem. It needs to be discussed by those who have the power to end this. The question with that is how any agreement reached would be enforced.

At long last peace has been restored between KT and EoQ. On hindsight I think this war was actually fairly.. bad :P Now.. Havoc is next on my rather empty list *looks down at list of two with EoQ already scribbled out*

I as self appointed first prime strongly second this motion for KT. There are some minor faults which will need to be sorted out but that will come later. If HAVOC move against this motion I will strongly ask the vets to reconsider who they.. annul from the game.

Let's just cut to the chase.
We all know how the war started with Havoc and KT, and then with KT and eoq, all three parties have been on a fair stalemate for a good chunk of a month. Now with all the drama being repeatedly spoken and complained about, some veterans are willing to come into on Havocs side and destroy kt.
While I want this war to end, i do not wish to see Kt and all whom can muster a force die for their efforts, hereby I am suggesting peace between the three alliances currently involved.
Let us throw down our weapons and usher in a feeling of peace and tranquility between our alliances.
Let us all NAP with each other, to promise not to pursue diplomatic or military actions against each other.
Let us agree not to response harshly or in a vulgar/insulting manner to each other, but instead be respectful.
This is not for two alliances to surrender to one, but for all three to admit their faults and move on from them, to spend their time helping their members grow instead of instructing them to raise armies.
