The IllySPN Thread ~ Proving people will read anything on the forums for 17 days.

Day 17 (Part One)

Welcome back to the commentary for day 17 of the third Illyriad tournament. Today's posting is brought to you by Sliced Bread - What was the best thing before it anyway? Here's the news from the last 24 hours.

Still leading the way are [Curse] duo Tanis and Iduna with 21 elementals a piece. Jezma [Crow] is right behind them with 20 now binded to him and Bren'th [Curse] has 19. Keeping it close at the top is Mandarin31 [VIC] in fifth with 17 and sixth with 15 is Rupe [WE]. Gixy is seventh with 13 elementals and the rest of the chasing pack is made up of RuneMage [REIGN], Bardem [Crow], Rymis [peac3] and Sloter [VIC] all with 11 elementals each.

Another relatively quiet day on the battle front with no epic encounters again, the bloodiest altar was in Keppen with over 16k reported dead. The Turalia Fire Altar was next with over 14k casualties and then Lan Larosh with over 11k lost souls.

Still no movement at the top with Tanis and Iduna of [Curse] still tied with 21 elementals each. Trailing just behind are Bren'th [Curse] and Jezma [Crow] with 19 each binded to their cities and Mandarin31 [VIC] has 17. The rest of the chasing pack are lead by RuneMage [REIGN], Bardem [Crow], Rymis [peac3] and Sloter [VIC] who all have 11 elementals.

A relatively quite day once again at the altars. The Turalia Fire Altar lead the way with over 14k casualties followed just behind by the altars at Keppen and Arran with over 13k reported dead at both site. The Windlost Altar once again reported no losses and there were no epic battles to report on day 16.

Day 15 (Part One)

Its day 15 of the Harnessing the Elementals Tournament and we are now half way though. Back with me and trying to eat my notes again is Harvey the Puppy. Today's post is brought to you by the CTTF... Keeping Illy clear of trolls for the enjoyment of others. Here's what happen in the last days action.

Still tied at the top are Iduna and Tanis [both Curse] with 21 elementals each and alliance colleague Bren'th trails just behind with 19 elementals over two altars. In fourth with 17 elementals over three altars is Jezma [Crow]. IllySPN must apologise for not mentioning Jezma in previous commentary as he appears to me missed in the fight with the dog for the notes. Mandarin31 [VIC] has 14 elementals and RuneMage [REIGN], Bardem [Crow] and Rymis [peac3] lead the remainder of the chasing pack with 11 a piece binded to their cities.

As we're at the halfway stage its time to take another look at the Alliance Leader Board. Still leading the way but stalling slighly are [Curse] with 85 elementals so far. [H?] are still in second now with 56 binded, and [VIC] have pushed over the last 5 days and are now only an elemental behind with 55. [Dlord] lead the rest of the chasing pack with 30 elementals at the halfway point. Only one major change in the top 10 as Aesir drop out and previous tournament winners VALAR climb into 10th spot with 14.

The IllySPN Thread - The truth is out there... somewhere!

Day 14 (Part One)

Welcome back. Two weeks into the tournament and still all to play for. Today's post is brought to you by Nestle KitKat - Have a break... then rush off the the emergency room to have the bones set! Here's the comings and goings from the last day.

All tied at the top again as Iduna and Tanis [both Curse] share the lead with 21 elementals each binded to them. Alliance colleague Bren'th is in third with 18 elementals currently won and he's trailed by Mandarin31 who continues his push and now has 14 binded. RuneMage [REIGN] and Rymis [peac3] have 11 a piece and the rest of the chasing pack are lead by The Dragon [Dlord], Gixy [Curse], Llyorn of Jaensch [H?], Ravenstone [H?], Bardem [Crow] and Dunwick who all have 9 elementals each. Dunwick is the highest ranking person in the tournament with no alliance and is now up with the leaders.

A relatively quiet day at the altars with only two suffering more than 10k casualties. The Earth Altar at Norweld lead the way with over 24k dead and its fellow Earth Altar at Arran had over 11k. 

Only the one epic battle to report of in day 14 as Warrior Bunny [VIC] battled for control of the Norweld Altar. Over 11k troops failed to report back home from the encounter.

IllySPN ~ Breaking mirrors and walking under ladders for 13 days! LOL

Day 13 (Part One)

Its day 13 and here is IllySPN's (still delayed) coverage of The Harnessing the Elementals Tournament. No Harvey the Puppy for today's commentary as he's decided to go tear Winnie the Pooh apart... It'll be interesting to see if Pooh looks the same after he's passed through the dog. Today's thread is brought to you by Chicken Nuggets... What part of a chicken is its nuggets anyway? LOL

Still in the lead is Tanis [Curse] with 21 elementals binded still. Hot on his heels are Iduna [Curse] and Bren'th [Curse] with 19 and 18 elementals respectively. Mandarin31 [VIC] adds a couple to his overnight total now with 13 and RuneMage [REIGN] still has 11. The remaining chasing pack has The Dragon [Dlord], Gixy [Curse], Llyorn of Jaensch and Ravenstone [both H?] all with 9 elementals a piece.

Things are heating up at the altars once again. Mal Motsha saw over 39k casualties in the past 24 hours, with Lan Larosh adding another over another 17k dead. Both the altars at Kal Tirikan and Norweld had over 14k dead.

3 epic encounters today to report. At the Kal Tirikan Fire Altar Doozer [VIC] battled for control with over 13k dead in one battle. At the carnage at Mal Motsha Water Altar firstly Pimpin [peac3] battled for control with over 13k reported dead in the encounter, and later in the day Rhino70 [TMOT] attempted to gain possession in a battle that cost the lives of over 11k troops.

One more piece of news at the Keppen Altar as my troops briefly seized control... unfortunately there was something important on TV so they had to return back home without gaining any elementals. (Really I just forgot to send them to occupy the square so let that be a lesson to me as I should've binded at least one elemental, possibly up to 3, judging by the time until the next person occupied the square.)
