	Hi Waylander, The act of identifying a casting magic requires you to be able to trace the magic back to its source along the route of the mana's power. The spells you are thinking of are instant effect spells with no lingering power, and so the current incarnation of Identify Magic cannot trace them back. However, we are sympathetic to this, and so have some ideas about magics to trace back previous spellcastings to their source - even old, expired blights etc. Regards, GM Stormcrow

	If we have this skill surely we should be able to detect all types of spells cast on us and not just blights. what about other spells such as plague of locusts, it would be nice to find out who is casting these spells.
