***WARNING*** This is all purely hypothetical. No claim has been made, I don't know if one will ever be made, this is for the community to ponder and go, this is what i think. Would you as a player support such a claim?
CaIllyriad Nation Idea.
Cause for writing:
Currently
within Illyriad there are regions within the world map, it could be
speculated that they were brought in to help players create “Countries”,
however the current player base simply uses them for gathering points
for various alliances, which more or less makes it like one jot of land
overall.
The
basic Idea within my Nation proposal, is to have a grouping of
alliances with different agendas, different affiliated/unaffiliated
players together working towards the same goal, but still able to fly
with their alliance. I would not care for the idea of the alliances
involved, merging or confeding together, but rather acknowledge their
respective Citizens within the nation and move on.
I’ll
be writing out the details towards Law and Peace keeping aspects, as
well perhaps towards a fixed economy, trading regulations and such, of
course some may not go into play until further updates from the game
allow you to choose how far you would like to send off caravans loaded
with resources, or whom could buy from you etc.
The
Court system is beginning to be written out, such as above, which will
go under an editing process. However, why will people want to be a part
of the nation? What benefits are offered?
I
personally have noticed that within the current global community
system, if there is a wrongdoer who breaks an unspoken law of global,
that wrongdoer is executed. The law of global is an “Eye for a Life”
The alliances have their rules, but no 50 can stand up to the might of
a thousand. These alliances have no true power, they are but a simple
gathering of players.
Create
the Nation within a section of a region, write out your laws, your
constitution, your military powers. Obey no one but your government.
Nation wide peacekeeping
In
every nation there is a military presence, one designed to maintain law
and order, and to defend the nation against attacks from the outside.
the Nations would have to have a military presence, thus the
peacekeepers, perhaps have a grouping of players, 1-3 every 50 square
miles “squares” within the nation, more peacekeepers could be added as
the nation boundaries and population “citizens +civilians” grow.
Peacekeepers responsible for protecting the citizens and civilians of the Nation.
Citizens Rights full Protection of the Peacekeepers Fair trial full rights to constitution Requested to become a part of the nation
Civilian Rights
minimal protection of the Peacekeepers Fair trial Full rights to Constitution
Citizens are those whom are fully within the designated Nation, and are therefor gifted with more rights due to availability.
Civilians
are spread out players whom are gifted minimal rights due to the
possibility of belonging to more then one nation. Some nations may
differ that require the player to be in their alliance and only one
nation.
Laws Do not speak in hostilities towards members of the global community, or within the Nation. Do not spread false ideals about the nation towards those whom are not a part of the nation
