   I have noticed that people who join around the same time in some instances tend to appear in the same region, but that's not guaranteed.  However, as Phoenixfire noted, most people move shortly after beginning playing, and although it might be nice to have a buddy nearby initially, the other players will provide more than enough help to get you started.  Then you and your buddy can decide together where to make your permanent home.  You should consider having your buddy use the referral link to get some free prestige.  That link is at the bottom of the "About Prestige" page in game.

	you most likely wont spawn in a close vicinity, but you can move very close to each other later on.

	Hi All, I'm new here and would like to start playing Illyriad. However I would like to enter with a friend. Can anyone give us advice on how to set it up so we end up close to eachother? In some games you can invite new players to a specific location, in others you have to enter at the same time to end up in the same neighbourhood. All tips appreciated.
