EF, you can give your sincere apologies to TD for whatever happened and tell him that you wish to stay on his good side.
He cannot ask for the information regarding the spy in his alliance, once he realize that you don't have it.

This is getting completely out of hand. The more that community members debate this minor issue in the forums the more intense and exaggerated it becomes.
I think that it is in the best interest of all parties that they agree to an neutral arbitrator to look at the facts of the dispute and make findings that will be binding on both parties. Both parties can provide the arbitrator with a submission and draft recommendations for a settlement. After that they can comment no longer - neither in the forum, GC or by mail. The arbitrator then reaches his/her conclusion which is BINDING on both parties. The dispute and findings cannot be commented on by anyone and we all move on.
I have not spoken or been in contact with anyone about this but I would recommend either:
1. Jasche of Invicta or;
2. CristinaZah of Valar;
both players have acted in settling disputes in the past , are relatively mature and do not have links to either party or alliance.
In the meantime experienced and new players should not seek to state their own analysis or opinions because it clearly making things worse. Lets sort this out and resolve it sensibly.

Lets just do this.
I tried to pay back when i realized i had a bad attitude. i gave all the info i had.
To try to get the info now, which would be hard would be breaking more trust.
to tell TD to go away and ignore him would be more disrespectful.
How about telling me what to do to make this go away so i can go back to tlr without a worry.

Negotiations are hereby nonexistent. As far as I'm concerned we tryed to pay full compensation when our go between relayed he so desired, but TD didnt like my attitude and refused it. Then it went to this leak which was sent to me without me going after it, and when TD found out about ti he demanded to know the members name, which i have no idea and went to call me a liar. it went to him stating he could be a deadly enemy or powerful ally when i went to the forums.
Then after 5 pages of "your fault, no its not "we wind back up to the situation prior forums

Ok, so you sent compensation but had an attitude (which by the way is a large part of diplomacy and negotiations). So you basically you gained one point but lost 2 regarding relations. Next, comes the information debackle... This is what needs to be cleared up if the rest is to be cleared up, and he is right, he has developed a name for himself during his time here, and is respected so bringing this it to the forums can be costly. Did you forward the mail that was sent to you to TD? I'm just trying to get you toward a better direction.. but you 'do' have an issue that needs to be cleared up somehow, and this was a mistake you made that placed you in this situation. Now just work to maintain your honor, keeps TD's and prove yourself innocent of the charges of lying or having a spy in RES.

I'd just like to say sorry for my words in this topic. I should have picked better ones as well. Eternal Fire I really do hope you can solve this peacefully. And I would really listen to Ander he has the right idea. I respect TD and you and I know you could become a great leader. Guess that is why I am being harsh.
You got alot to learn but you will do fine in the long run. And I really do hope you can sit back and look at all that is happened and learn from all of this. And I am sure if roles were reversed, you would understand TDs actions. Good luck to you EF, and to you as well TD. I really do hope you can find and fix the leak.
