I think what's more likely is that Luna is a mysterious player, somewhere in the game, who's signed a NDA.

I'm pretty sure Illyriad has a strict policy regarding the hiring of active in-game players...i.e. you can be on staff or be a real player, but not both.
It's why all the devs are in their own alliance and under the both-way newbie protection.

Would quite happily work for free anonymously but would never give up my account without spitting blood and feathers...
Why?
How are you meant to be in touch with the player base if you don't play yourself and know what everyone else is going though?
Ask yourself that next time when you wonder if any of the GM's have a current active account not in the DEV alliance!
