well we are about a week into our conflict and the troops are marching dutifully to thier deaths. i know you have all been waiting to hear news from the front lines. Havoc have done well for themselves thus far. its hard to say who is winning and who is losing but we have blockaded thier capitol city for the better part of the week and they have mounted no defence save for one intial attack. havoc seems to be fighting a defensive war for the most part. its a boring way to fight but what do you expect. they have claimed to have a number of siege weapons and the ability to conduct a siege and yet they still do not use it.
i have a hard time believing that they can tear my city to the ground and yet they cannot remove the blockade to thier leader.( maybe they are tired of his leadership?) we have several outbound attacks at this time, and they have a few of thier own. i am amazed that we seem to be able to send twice the attacks with far less members. perhaps they are readying themselve for a giant offensive. unlikely since we have destroyed most of thier troops.
i think it is more likely that jonnie is unable to conduct any meaningful military strategy. even with the help of vets to guide him.
oh well, its not my alliance just my enemy. we will see if they can get it together or not.
i wouldnt hold my breath if i were you.

see you soon jony

***PUBLIC NOTICE***

I have been approached by Johnny112 to try to arbitrate a peace between the two warring parties. I will attempt to end this now so both sides can get on with things and start to enjoy the game as the rest of us do. If an agreement cannot be met then good luck to both alliances. I will freely admit a morbid curiosity as to which will prove Darwin's survival of the fittest especially as both claim to have the upper hand.

I will agree - yes, I was asking if I should post the chat log for you.  But it was in response to me reading through it and your comments in the forum asking how to copy / paste the text....

[18:35]<StJude> Sunstorm now has some more fodder for DDD  [19:15]<Clavicus Vile> Someone put this on the forums!  [18:53]<Belthazor> This would look much better on the forums.  [20:22]<StJude> Is there a way to copy all of chat? Seems I can only copy a line at a time  [20:23]<StJude> I need to get with Sunstorm and see how he does it  [20:23]<Belthazor> That's SunStorm speciality,StJ

I do know there were several requests from third parties for the chat to be posted so they could read at their leisure. Up to you.

So I will take back what I said about being asked to post it...

You need to read that line in its context:

The underlined text was there in the original post.  I acknowledged that you didn't intend for it to come across as it did.  That was me acknowledging your apology.

As for schoolyard bully tactics,

Although definitions of bullying vary, most agree that bullying involves:
Repetition: incidents of bullying happen to the same the person over and over by the same person or group

Bullying can take many forms. Examples include:
Verbal: name-calling, teasing
Perhaps you don't like the definition, but I see repeated forms of verbal abuse as bullying.  I am not saying you are a schoolyard bully!  I am simply saying it is a schoolyard bully tactic - EVEN THOUGH I CAN SEE THAT YOU DIDN'T INTEND FOR IT TO COME ACROSS IN SUCH A WAY.  <--(Perhaps if I cap-lock it, you will understand better than the first time)

Perhaps this hypothetical example will suffice: Two kids are walking down the street talking about music they like. One says they like ________ (insert name of group/person) - The other responds with something like, "that music is gay!"  The first one says something about being offended, so the other boy calls him a "sissy" in response...

Even though he may have been joking around, it is not ok to disregard how someone feels about something.... Thank you for your apology.  Again, I can see that you didn't intend for it to come across in such a way.

Now, in regards to the last half of your message, *Applause*  <--(that is not sarcastic)

This is the tact I spoke of!  This is how more players should be, including myself.  That is, we should be willing to recognize it is just a game and be willing (if it came to it) to get up and leave.  I would only like to ask if Johnny112 feels the same and is looking for an alliance to be his arch nemesis.  If the two of you are happy slugging it out, wonderful and more power to you both.  (^_^)

It sounds like a fun way to play, but the aspect that prevents most players and myself is that you can lose it all.... However, there is a problem to this method...  Eventually, one side will out-power the other - and one side will be destroyed.  Will your thirst for war end?  You will seek out other opponents.  You will be stronger than you were at first, and less people will be able to stand up to an alliance of thieves and diplomats...  It is not my ideal way to play...  (~_~)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Btw, I looked back to see what I missed while posting...  You did it again - this time to Artorious...  He mentioned being offended - and you ridiculed him saying  "if 'swollen nipples' offends you, then you probably have much bigger problems in real life you should go deal with."
......wow.
Actually, I'm not looking for anyone to be my personal arch enemy, or any alliance to be the arch enemies of my alliance. I simply felt (and still do) that if hostile troops where inbound against me, then war (whether officially announced or not) had been declared by the alliance who had the specified player in their ranks. Havoc attempted to reach out (Via Pulvorize, our alliance diplomat) whenever Knights Templar was set up. After that, we went our ways, and had no dealings with them. I was under the impression that they had turned to form a new alliance, and felt that if they wanted to do so, then they should absolutely feel free to do so.
I do understand it's a game (to more directly answer what I think you were saying you wanted to ask me) and I hope first and foremost that people enjoy the game! I don't tell people how to play their game, because it's THEIR game, not mine, and I want them to play it in a way that brings them entertainment *. I believe that we should all be able to enjoy the game, and if it effects us in ways that arn't productive or entertaining, then perhaps the game isn't worth it, or they might need a break to breath and realize that it is just a game.
* These though are bound by the community rules. I do not condone certain acts such as trolling, newb attacking, or unwarranted aggression for the simple entertainment value a few individuals. This part was added not to enflame anyone, and should not be considered a statement about anyone's actions. It is simply put in as a clarification statement.
Well alright, I will say that the red wasn't my favorite color, but I actually like the multi colors. Makes the manotiny of reading the grayish letters of posts easier. Now just to try to figure out how to put the colors in my own posts. I personally liked the green that Manannan used in his commentary the other day. I also would like to point out that SunStorm has taken what I would consider a very rational and logical progression to talk to Jude, and I applaud him for that!
