Topic: Harvesting status display glitchesPosted: 30 Sep 2012 at 11:56 |
Few days ago there were some changes related to cotters including their timer. And yes it displays time correctly only during first hour and after that it is not working as it should and it repeats to display only 1h timers. Look at this thread: http://forum.illyriad.co.uk/25sep2012-cotter-changes_topic4252.html But I am not sure if there is petition about it. |

My latest cotter, at 28|293, is now working on his first 5-unit block (of herbs; they were previously working on minerals) and the display shows a bar for progress across a 20 hour interval; so either you've just fixed this or the first block is handled differently.

Two little silly things in the display of "Your town's harvesting" on the Trade Movements page's Movements tab: * In the "Location" column, each entry says "Location: [10|281] in Norwald" and is line-wrapped because of the inclusion of the word "Location:" - it's redundant at the start of each entry in a column which has this as its heading anyway. Eliminating it would let the entries in the column fit in the column without line-wrapping. * When a cotter is harvesting, the progress slider only uses its last few pixels to indicate the whole variation within an hour. Just after completing one 5-unit batch of harvesting, the timer says there's just under an hour of work to do, but the slider is almost at its right-hand end already, working its way through the remaining short section towards completion. I *suspect* the last is displaying the "work remaining" in the present 5-unit block of work against a "total work" that represents everything the cotter shall do before turning for home - the result is that the slider runs from 95% to 100% twenty times instead of: either running from 0% to 100% once for the whole batch of 100 units collected; or running from 0% to 100% for each block of 5 units that gets added to the inventory within that batch. |
