Although everything you say is true, I don't see why we have to say it.  Deep down in their fey hearts the elves know that we are the shapers of the rock and their world.  The Humans know their lives are as fleeting as a Dwarven piss, and the Orcs know we make a better mead than they do.

If they want to trumpet on about themselves I say let them.  More laughable material for tonight's drunken-sing-along.

Dwarves have the most knowledge, and to be blessed by even a small fraction of our knowledge is akin to being blessed by the Deities themselves!  Elves are indeed magnificent, and Orcs are Orcs, Humans are interesting, but Dwarves are the ones who know the ways of war, who know the history the way it was originally told! Dwarves are the true makers of the world, for we have made all that you hold dear, although your ancestors have taught you otherwise.
