Attila---
For someone who supposedly likes this game, you have a funny way of showing it:
You write (after trying to retract your trashing of Illyriad earlier) that: "The game is fun, i know it is since i play it, however again once some players dislike you, and them being senior players, the rest usually follow suit".
I presume you are referring to me and/or other players who have been around for a while. What I'm having a serious disconnect with is that they claim to care about sticking around the game, yet are continuously trying to provoke me and others...
Which is it? Do you want to complain about being bullied by older players or are you out to provoke us into sieging you?
If you like the game, you have a funny way of showing it and a seriously poor strategy for surviving in it...

I actually agreed with most of that review...Less so on the last sentence or so but the thing about war and such sounded about right.

"it will take you a few months to be able to support an army of 300"...
Really? You really agree with that? If it takes you 3 months to be able to support an army of 300, then you are out and out lousy at the game.

Especially if you join an alliance. I might not have had one, but i didn't play more than once a week or moth even in the beginning and that was because i lacked internet.

Very true! If you have alliance support it should go much faster!

ATH would develop much quicker if he redirected all the energy he expends on chat and the forum towards developing his city, establishing friendships, and learning how Illy works.
Then he would understand that war in Illy is costly (just as in RL) which is the reason why Illy is mostly peaceful.
I find it most curious that ATH complains about lack of war in Illy, yet he also complains when the armies and diplos come at him.
ATH also complains that Illy players are lemmings that all follow some mystery super-player. This is not my observation at all. I see almost entirely independently minded players which is one reason that we have such spirited discussions in the forum and on chat. ATH's logic for his conclusion appears to be that since so many established players dislike ATH, then all those players must be lemmings. However, my observation is that ATH has made it his mission to insult as many people as possible which seems a much more likely reason for such broad-based dislike of ATH.

A succinctly and accurately described summary that I think shows the depth of perception and ability to see "through the spin" that we have come to expect from you, TD!

JEEZUS TD! I just spent 30 mins typing out exactly the same (though far less eloquent) response in another of ATH's I hate Kumo/H?/Everybody threads. Little did I know you'd already nailed the proverbial Kudos sir.
