...Most people being reasonable = a few people not being reasonable, and as Illy grows that becomes more and more people. It's kind of weird to think of it this way, but maybe the GMs have to be less laid back simply because there are more players - i.e. because Illy is more successful.

Instead of giving them your password, just name them a sitter.   A sitter can sit an account legally until the end of time even if it's player never comes back.  People do this all the time and the devs seem to not care.  You can play 10 accounts if 8 are inactive accounts that you sit for.

That's not quite accurate.  If you have two active accounts, you can sit for two accounts each for a total of six accounts.
