There is no reason not to set up a second hub. Anyone who lives in the broken lands does not want a 3-15 day journey to Centrum to buy and sell things. There is easily enough volume of many things. You mentioned saddles. A quick look tells me there are 15 sell orders in Centrum and 4 in Hope Ridge, only a quarter, but for a newly established hub against THE CENTRAL GAME-LIFE-LONG hub, that's fantastic. And they're cheaper. And, everyone i know, makes their own saddles, or doesn't use them at all. I personally make my own, because i only ever need small amount of horse units for speed, i make archers far more often. Basic resources have a much higher turnover, crafted specialist items are higher turnover, saddles really were a poor example to use. People will sell when it is easier for them to sell. With a closer and more active hub in the Broken Lands, i can see trading alliances and members and even regular players having much more incentive to craft and trade and fill that hub up. It has been my experience that BL players do town to town trading far more often within alliances because its faster than just going to Centrum and back again. I myself and some alliance friends are all setting up crafting and sending resources to Hope Ridge to support the initiative. And there is no need to insult people trying to improve and change their playing experience. If you want to see more volume in the hubs, buy from them more, encourage people to buy from them, and people will start making more. I can speak from experience that it is much more encouraging to want to make a certain item if it sells. If i make an order of 10,000 saddles and no-one buys them, im not going to make any more, and if i do, im not going to put up an order for them until the first one sells. A perfect example of this one: i put up a 10 million order of basic resources. I have over 100 million total basic resources in centrum that i wont sell til my first orders sell.

Your mostly right I guess. I'm still a little bitter about the potential this game had before the devs abandoned it to go play browser spaceships. The plans for illy had a great many people, me included, very exited, and I firmly believe we could have eventually had thousands of active players not to mention a vibrant market. The market system set-up, while rudimentary and unpolished (unfortunately still), was part of the framework that pointed toward big league potential for Illyriad.

I support Hope Ridge in the BL. Sorry that Irwin doesn't. I agree that BL needs it's own Central Hub. Would make it much easier for BL players to access it in reasonable time.
Hoping the Devs take serious consideration of Hope Ridge

I think that would be much beter insted of making visable hub at bl to make invisable centrum.
And make visable only the closer hub this would give a more realistic meaning to trade and to be a trader
