Recent Account Actions & Reminder on ToS/CoC

Greetings, Illyrians,

We want to take a moment to address recent bans and account removals that have occurred due to violations of Illyriad’s Terms of Service — specifically, multi-accounting beyond the permitted limits and harassment or disrespectful conduct toward other players.

While we understand that Illyriad is a community built on friendship, alliances, and spirited competition, it’s important to remember that the rules exist to protect that very community. We’ve observed an increase in behavior that crosses the line of what is acceptable, whether through creating multiple accounts to gain unfair advantages, or through comments made in chat that target or belittle other players.

To clarify — even if you don’t see a GM actively speaking in Global Chat, that does not mean we are absent. We routinely monitor player interactions, chat logs, and reports. Every action taken is reviewed carefully and enforced when necessary. We take these matters seriously, and enforcement is never random or arbitrary.

If you find yourself frustrated, remember that behind every name in chat is another person who enjoys the same game you do. Keep the community spirit alive by showing the same respect and sportsmanship you’d hope to receive in return.
