Hmm.  Very interesting.  I was going to settle a city tomorrow but now it is clear that it is prudent to wait for the update to see how it changes my choice. Geek

Mammoths you say? I was thinking more like a horde of spiders. 

It would make it viable to go down the magic path. Instead of troops, commandeer legions of local wild life to fight for you...

Anyway, muskrats like the meaning of life...only better. 

Or if you're looking for a more descriptive explanation, beavers are like muskrats only they squished their tails in waffle makers because they were jealous of the muskrats and they wanted to try to be cooler than them. So a muskrat is like a beaver only way better and doesn't try to change their body to get attention.
