I appreciate all of the different ways to address game play, but am firmly in the camp to devote the resources to cleaning up what was already released or intended to be released.

This alliance pool needs mechanisms to prevent abuse, e.g. you could separate prestige to paid/non-paid and only allow the paid to be donated ... if that is too hard/harsh then enforce the individual's prestige to always be at least 25 when donating to stop new player pres farming.

I was thinking player to player prestige gifting (once researched) would be the method of transferring prestige. Of course then you can threaten to siege someone unless they give you prestige :)

The alliance prestige pool system suggested (everything devs post is only a suggestion until it goes live... cough...tax-doesn't-effect-food...cough) has different uses.

- This system will give more meaning and purpose to alliances.
- Prestige Pool use/availability to alliance rank will encourage strong alliance hierarchy, and give new players something to thrive for.
- This is a gateway to alliance achievement's that grant additional prestige to the prestige pool. (example: 100% of members complete a quest in 1 day - reward 1 prestige)
- One of the benefits of befriending a faction could be alliance prestige
- Prevents non-allies from being coerced into giving prestige away. Only alliance mates can share prestige.

This will really encourage less alliance fracturing/multiplying, and empower all the alliances that are currently out there.

Only downside will be what Rill suggested.

Account sitters will not be able to spend from an alliance prestige pool, just as they cannot spend the sat account's prestige.

There will be a limit so that you cannot donate your last 25 prestige to prevent the temptation of account farming that Rill described.

Thanks for your feedback and keep it coming!

Then what is to stop them from just waiting one day, get their 1 free prestige and then donating 25 prestige. etc.

To clarify, you can not donate the last 25 prestige in your account. So if someone did this, they could donate 1 prestige only.

Well if they cannot donate their last 25 prestige, then if they wait one day they can only donate 1 prestige. Really stop complaining already. I'm shocked the developers want to give us anything with all the complaining people do.

Quackers, Often times we read into the text what we ourselves feel.  If I said "Thank you very much" than you might read this in different ways.  You may read it sarcastic, or you may read it as someone who feels indebted to another and is grateful for some help given.  There could be any number of ways to read into the text what we are feeling as we read it.  The problem comes from communication barriers.  We cannot hear the other person's speech or see their facial expressions.  So whereas you are hearing complaining, I am hearing legitimate questions and responses to potential problems presented.  I appreciate all the responses as well as Luna clarifying how this will work out.

With the deepest humility, thank you very much.

You can read into text by the way a person types and yes there is alot of complaining. Not talking about here on the forums but in guilds and people on the game as well.
