 I'm not saying their hatred for each other is boring..... its just rather surprising . I wonder how they don't end up killing each other. The pressure that is put on them is astonishing .

They do need bonding, but it would be a boring show if everyone got along! 

And, it seems that lots of burgers and milkshakes would only add muscle to players in training, which is not really a bad thing, especially considering how many calories they are burning (genetics are different for everyone, meat/fish was the only way I could ever bulk up for football).

I've recently started watching Friday Night Lights (only 5 episodes) but two things that have been bothering me about the show is the fact that the Dillion Panthers want to win the state championship so badly that they will kick the coach out of his job if they start losing.... then why do they do nothing when the players are constantly eating fast food and drinking? surely that would be banned? 
Also the other thing that strikes me as odd is that there is extreme hatred among the team members? how can they expect to win if they don't have any bonding at all?

I presume that this might become more clear as the season goes on but it has irked me somewhat so far. Still looking forward to the rest of season one and the other four after Big smile , Great show
