As others have said, thanks for giving out the prizes, but I must admit to a little disappointment with the skyclad stats. Personally I had thought they would have some extra resistance to magic, but perhaps this couldn't be implemented in time

Thanks for the prizes ...
But the skyclads are a bit sh*tty ... and have upkeep cost!! :(
The swords that are nice, are "swords", so most commanders cannot use them, not even knigths. So, it results in a sh*** prize again!
Thanks,
TH

The "standing stones" outside my towns seemed to serve no purpose...but when tournament IV rolled around I was glad they were near me!  It's been theorized that elementals have something to do with solving the HoC mystery--perhaps the skyclad warriors have a purpose (or will have) that we haven't discovered?  I think it's a bit silly to complain, personally.  As far as troop types go...I'm an elf, but I do have a sword town for tournament purposes.  (Got tired of missing out on the party in Arran....)  Especially with the "elite" option there's no reason elf/human/orc can't have a company of swords.

The weapon issue is not so much down to the forces in your army, I doubt anyone would bother equiping a bisic soldier with them.  It more comes down to the type of commander you have.  With cavalry commanders, which is what most people have, these weapons are pretty much useless.

But they are still nice to have :)

So we have months on end roll by with no tourney, and people complain and complain about the fact there has been no tourney. We finally get the tourney and now people complain about the prizes. Bad form. Im glad the devs give us these tourneys so we can satisfy some bloodlust and gain some pvp experience. If we were awarded 0 prizes I still enjoyed it.

Id rather spend my troops fighting against you all in a format set like this than a war where the loser will have sanctions against them.
Thanks GM's- Shades will prep for the next one- in the meantime NPC's beware Big smile

Some of the larger npc's count as monstrous.  The undead are hiding in the rift, but I'm sure they will come out sooner or later.

Exactly--and a wardancer commander with a tournament sword could be fun!!

I agree, Duke, that it is incredibly bad form to complain about the prizes.
