Thanks...!! the stats of the skyclad is a bit of dampener, especially compared to last tournament prizes.....after a long wait of over 5 weeks its just a shade better than human T1 spear.....maybe I expected more

According to tourney thread, the Skyclads were not supposed to cost upkeep. Is this merely an oversight on the devs part?

If they continue to cost upkeep they're certainly not worth keeping. >.>

I would like to thank the devs for giving out the prizes, it has been a bit of a wait, but not as bad as it could have been.
However, like other players that have commented above; I do find the Skyclad warriors a let down. Due to the ammount that were being given out and also the concentration of them amongst just a few alliances I had figured that they would not be all that powerfull, however as they are; the only reason for having them is merely to keep a collection of unique troops.
At the very least these units need their gold upkeep removed ( so that they will provide a little city defence with no cost). I had personnaly expected them to have some special unique skill, like adding scout defence to armies asthough they were scouts or something. Or maybe having a bonus when fighting against animal npc's.
