The dwarfs are brooding and cold, 
To befriend one is a friend to hold, 
With glistening sword,  Advancing forward, 
In battle their true might is told.


The Humans are pompous and dense, 
To train knights of massive expense,
They party and cheer, Chugging their beer, 
Only to be sent on defence.


The Elves have an aura of mystique, 
Little is known of the havoc they wreak, 
Led by King Sigurd, All is triggered, 
Then the masters reveal their technique.


The Orcs are dim and slow, 
Using words with no rhyme or flow. 
But cross one in combat, and soon you will see that, 
Your body becomes a feast for the crow.

The bodies of the warriors lay on the open fields
the slain, the fallen, never to come home
they charged with small numbers, refusing to yield
slaughtered by their commanders, killed by their will

The days here have been forever cold
the bodies never fade
the battle fought here is very old
year 2952 to this day

The opposing armies fought for their lords
thinking that their lives mattered
but their leaders bet all their hoards
to see which army would be scattered.

The precious lives wasted
never to be retrieved
the lords bickered over their winnings
nothing was achieved..

There once was a GM named StormCrow,
He had no sword and no bow,
But he has a hammer - and boy will he slam 'er,
If restraint in GC you won't show...

There once was a GM named ThunderCat
Who was very fond of his hat.
In the forum he has gone, and made it his icon,
And that, as they say, is that!

There once was a GM named Luna,
The only thing that rhymes...is tuna...  (0.o)
So she made a fillet, then some sorbet, 
And now she sings "O Fortuna."

WHAT AM I ?

Upon sheets of white I boldly state my claim
Presenting work or enjoyment I stand out but no blame
What flows through me is proud I claim superb excellency
Depends upon your fate do I show ignorance, arrogance or keen personality
Without my part mankind stay in the past
With me I have advanced but a must that lasts
Some think they can erase what I prove true
Away with them for punishment and yet I can stay blue
Miracles have happened due to my success
Catastrophes, heartaches I caused but not means of feeling useless
I can be encased, bottled or tightly packed
Shipped, flown, worn or used over months and still be in tact
I say you need me in your life to succeed
Nothing more of a signature can make your life easy and complete

SunStorm + a million for posting that O Fortuna. That was the funniest damn thing I've seen in a long, long time. I've worked in choral music almost my whole life, and have played Carmina Burana (and pieces like it) many times.
