At the time I wasn't sure if it was a glitch or not, so it was written as "This is happening" but without the "can you fix it?" in turn you might have misinterpreted it. My bad, its #2228 in case your having trouble finding it.

I am seeing that the new biomes can be settled, is this "working as intended?" (i.e. able to settle on say a 15 plus food spot?)

Hi Anjire, No, it's not permitted, and when you try to send out your settlers you should get an error message to this effect. If this doesn't happen, please let us know via a petition! Regards, SC

Just to clarify - settling a new biome is absolutely permitted, but settling on an NPC square or an "impassable square" (such as a canyon) is not.
Any square that has a resource count of more than 7 of any type should be unsettlable.
Regards,
SC

Sorry, bad choice of the word biome on my part. I should have used NPC spawn point instead of biome.
I am not sure if it gives me an error as I don't have a slot open to settle a new city at this point. I do know that it does have the clickable option, when empty of resources or NPCs, to "send settlers." When clicked it takes me into the settler window to build, etc.
With the older NPC spawn points the option to "send settlers" has never appeared for me.

A very useful report, ty Anjire. If you actually try and send the settler(s) it'll throw an error saying "Can't settle this location"; however, I completely agree that we should remove the option to "Send Settlers" to these locations from the interface, and will chat to TC about getting this impemented. Many thanks, SC
