After years of waiting out occupants and terraforming, I finally became the owner of my very own island in Illy. After some long and thought-out decisions for my future game play, I have decided to leave and that once I am gone from this island I will not be returning. I am currently the only inhabitant, having terraformed nearly 20 locations to 7 food plots (with many more 7 food plots naturally existing on the island), and I am moving off it soon and for good.

I have decided that I wish to auction off this island as I think there may be some interest in it.  

Key Highlights:

• Island has both forest and plains locations for diverse town set ups
• Island can comfortably support 20 towns (30 or more if you want to feel crowded)
• Island has abundant fertile coastal food plots for city growth in a densely packed enough area for clustering
• Island has many naturally spawning NPCs that won’t leave the island and will cluster in the north corner, allowing for efficient hunting/harvesting (legions do spawn here)
• Island has two mineral mines (Claristrine & Daera) for exclusive harvesting
• Island is only a 2-hour caravan trip from Ludisfold, a main trade hub in the region
• Island has proven to be very defensible due to it’s out of the way location and distance to the coast, giving island inhabitants ample warning of incoming occupations

I have put years’ worth of work into this island both waiting out other players and paying some to leave. I have terraformed this island to be turnkey ready for the next inhabitant, and I believe I have proved its viability for long term use by larger players, both PvE and PvP. For this reason, I value this land to be worth at minimum 400M gold and will start bidding there.

BIDDING PROCESS

xOutragedPandax (https://elgea.illyriad.co.uk/#/Player/Profile/411953) will host this auction. This auction will start at 400M gold and will be as fair as I can possibly make it, the winner will be the highest bidder.

•          Each bid must be submitted to xOutragedPandax via in game mail and titled “ISLAND AUCTION – BID”.
•         The current highest bid and bidder will be at the top of xOutragedPandax’s profile and I will update it as often as possible; to maintain anonymity you may have another bid in your place but their name will be associated with that bid publicly on the auction profile.
•         Any bids posted in this forum will not be acknowledged, you must send an in game mail to xOutragedPandax in game
•         In the event that the winning bidder does not or can not pay up, the island will go to the next highest bidder and so on
•        Bidding starts immediately and continues until June 28th 00:00 Illy time, any bids time stamped after the close date and time will not be accepted

TEMPORARY LAND CLAIM OF THE ISLAND OF WESTMARCH LOCATED AT [-941|-2080]

To stop Ne'er-do-wells and troglodytes, I am instituting a temporary land claim of the above-mentioned island. Any towns that attempt to exo onto the island to undermine this auction process will be met with immediate military force and removed without hesitation or negotiation. The offending player/s will continue to be hunted indefinitely until the fine for the price of removal (depending on time spent and troops lost) has been paid. This entire region is filled with PvP players who would jump for joy at a guilt free target, please give them one. This temporary land claim will be removed at the conclusion of the auction and successful turn over to the new owner. In the event that this island has no buyers, this temporary land claim will be removed at the conclusion of the auction.
