oh ok, thank you Smile

as far as today i thought that defence points were a reduction of ennemy's attack power; like 37 def against swordmen significate 37% less swordmen's attack power against t2 archers...
Now i understand why walls give this unbelievable percentage of added defence :).

i find that a bit non realistic... in that same case, 100 Kights what are defending in theyre city even with 100% def bonus... will lose again against 100 attacking Knights (5600 against 6500).

Attackers would whomp the defenders.

And yea, Attackers only use the attack value.

Defenders, in a vs horse case, only uses the defense value against horse.

Hi again,

Im just wondering something about the attack and defence of each soldier.

When an army attacks, is that only its attack power what counts or both attack and defence power?

When an army defends, is that only its defence power what counts or both attack and defence power?

To be clearest: Is a battle sumed up by the attack of the attackers against the defence of the defenders?

for exemple:

100 Knight are defending on a plain:  attack power 6500, def power against Knignt 2800

if 100 other Knights attack em, would it be a verry close battle or would attackers win largely (6500 power against 2800)?  (without looking at def/attack bonus for Knights on plains)

Thank you verry much for your reply Smile

Edit: I forgot to ask it: is production of soldiers in barracks and production of weapons affected by a lack of food, or is that only the production of ressources what is affected?

If your food goes to 0 your production will stop until you produce positive food again.

Your armies and population will remain what they were before you ran out.

However, if you run out of gold to pay your troops, they will start deserting until such a point in time, where your gold income is positive again.

Hello,

I just want to know what would happen if my food goes to 0.

I ask because i want to have a great army. then i must produce more gold by increasing taxation. then production of food decreases and the production can be negative. and if i cant send enough food from my other cities my food will go to 0.

So what would happen? will my army die? will my population decrease?
