Ellesmere, owned by the Lannigolds, also has something like this. they will be charging tolls as boats use their lock. I hope I can use my ipass. I don't carry spare change in my rowboat.

The link above takes you to the area that darkwords was referring to with city of Tigre shown more or less centre bottom. (Sunstorm's link refers to something different. I think). I suppose we should all keep an eye out for similar occurances and recheck the codex and the Herald for any references. |

The gms did say at one point that the terrain could change based on certain factors. Flooding happens in real life and upsets the livlyhoold of thousands of peopel each year.
I kinda like the feature (though it woud suck to lose access to sovreignty squares) Maybe it's seasonal and the floods will receed later.

Interesting there used to be mechanism that returns the map to its normal terrain shape if city disappears.
Meaning if there is city on small island that has been created because city was on area that turned to sea when the map shape was created. The island might turn in to ocean if the city is moved away or is deleted.

Potentia is the hub next to it and the bordering land around is in effect part of that.
However, perhaps it is just a mirage that has effected my explorers. |

I think it's just a graphics problem. If you scroll over it still says it's part of Potentia.

It has been recently noted that a section of land has become deluded and a new island formed as I result. The land at Map co-ordinates 283/-142 283/-143 & 283/-144 are now beneath water, when I am certain they were previously green pastures. This has placed Tigre's city 'city' on a virtual island and he is cut off from the mainland except for a small pass secured by my lord. Have any other exploration parties discovered such changing conditions around the globe? Could these floods merel be due to the autumnal rainstorms, or will they be a permanent feature? |
