i have the same problem and it apeared when i had my 7th city ,thats when a scroll bar is added 
to the drop down city list

I too have an annoying phantom scrollbar.  i refresh my browser and it disappears. but whenever i reopen my world map its right there again, laughing at me. how can i fix this?

I normally keep it disabled because every so often it interferes with my notifications.  I mostly enable it to track thieves or send to the human statues.

Rill, TD said he never installed Illytools and he has this problem too. You need not disable it if you like it.

I don't have this problem.  I am using Chrome and have Illytools enabled at the moment.  Am going to disable it now, though.

I have a Vertical Scroll Bar in the middle of my World Map and Market Trades Screens.  Chrome.   Here's a wrinkle - Only on The_Dude but NOT on El_Jeffe!  I've tried clearing Chrome Cache and Cookies, no effect.  This appeared yesterday.  I have never installed IllyTools.

The Scroll Bar has now appeared in the world map of El_Jeffe, too.  I reckon I jinxed it.  :)
