belargyle: interesting response, turning an invitation for some competitive fun into an opportunity to stomp about demanding certain cities. I particularly note the way you hinted that you might not allow the cities to remain if someone other than you won them. "Really in the spirit of things, and very much to the benefit of Illyriad as a whole" - or not.
T_D: I think Luna's off-topic comment related to the tangent about Lorre's forces and a sov dispute.
And finally, just to reiterate, SunStorm and Lorre - utterly awesome. People seem to have been itching to use their armies - now they have a balanced, fun, competitive way to do so. Many thanks to both of you, and best of luck to everyone who gets involved!

To keep a simple record, I've created a page for this here:
So, the Forum can remain a place for discussion, while basic information can always be found here. SunStorm has assented to this, and I'll amend the page if he requests. For now, it simply gives hyperlinks to each city, and can be used to record victors, assists, etc.
If any particular alliance intends to wreck this for the rest of us with regard to particular cities, I can remove those cities from the list.

Wonderful! 3 cities have armies with incoming! (^_^) Who will claim them? Will one of the cities fall to an ICON player? Will Dlords claim the ones in their land? Will BSH get the prize of Victory Bay, or will it go to the cave instead? Stay tuned!!!!

Crow, WE, DiL, Absa, and Champ have all joined in with Dlords, CoK, and Frost! Some are just attacks - Some are siege! (^_^) Keep an eye on the army/siege screen. Will you get the town you want? or will another player take it before you can? You don't have enough population yet, but you are close? An entire alliance can blockade the town - preventing others from taking it and save it for you!!! (^_^)

I suggest Sunny that you make a second thread, purely for battle reports and scout reports. Sound good? I've already taken out Lorre's army, and I figured you guys might be interested

Yes - agreed on the battle reports! But rather than regular attacks, I am only going to post the siege notices. I will do that in this thread since this is open knowledge from the Herald. (^_^)
