If the commander is equipped, the division must still be elite to double their equipment bonuses. And I personally believe it is very much worth it to equip hunting commanders. Aside from battle mules for cavalry, I don't equip any soldiers on offense, only commanders.

If you are using multiple commanders, particularly when hunting large NPC groups, you could have the main army under one commander and the other commanders leading elite divisions. This would give you the largest possible bonus. (Assuming all commanders have the same individual and division attack levels, or that the commander with the largest division attack bonus was assigned the largest number of troops.)

well basically elite divisions double your bonuses and weaknesses of equipment used...if used correctly your elite divisions could take on a 2k army and come out on top....another use for elite divisions is sweeping after your main army...or another use could be having lots of elite divisions to make up your big army...but then again you will have to equip them for any bonuses so it can get expensive fairly quickly....

What i'm thinking or trying to get from this is your take on the Elite thingy The div's are so small that the use is pretty limited (imo) So what is the point i think.. If you going for NPC's of medium/large or huge Elite doesn't really matter does is, because you will need bigger army correct.. So what is the point in Elite Commander/troops??.. I guess what i'm saying it.. what is your thoughts on Elite.. how do you use em, or do you use em.. and why/why don't you.. I'm fairly new to all this so asking because i really can get my head around the way battle tactics work in this game (and i seems so very limited).. I sometimes get soooooooo damn frustrated , how can a army of say 300 do worse than a army of say 20.. make absolutely no sense to me, but here in illy that is normal (my experience). SO please.. all.. share you experience, you opinion here.. help me.. help others with you experince and you advice etc. THANKS A MILLION in advance ShadowDK
