Topic: EE / Consone Agression Posted: 18 Oct 2012 at 17:52 |
|
Ok this is from my point of view no one else but me.
When i heard about the war I was very upset I went to my leadership about having friends in Consone and i was uncomfortable with being aggressive towards those people and alliances.
H? completely Understood and worked with me to stay neutral against those alliances during this time. Those 3 alliances stated if I stay neutral towards their members i would not be attacked or have any aggressive recourse. *** edited for wording***
Needless to say today i have had 120 scout wave hit 3 of my cities From EE. I have spoken and email to the leadership of EE already once cause of scouting early in this war. I was told it would not happen again.
Now mind you yes my cities are intertwined with EE from when I was a member with them. Now I am extremely upset since my alliance is being considerate enough to let me remain neutral to EE because of of my past history in EE. ***edited for wording****
I have in game people i consider friends in many alliances there are still some in EE.
My only concern is the overly aggressive behavior in EE when in the beginning they were a peaceful alliance. Now they just seem to be pushy and mean. What has happened to the people i knew that started the alliance. You wanted to be different and you are not you are behaving in the same matter that caused EE to be formed.
The sad thing is EE's word can not be trusted anymore... this started back before I left and was one of the reasons why i left EE. All you have in a game like this is your word and standing behind it.
I for one mourn for EE.

Tansi - information gathering on potential hostile targets so strategically placed as yourself is not aggressive. It is a fact of war. We are entitled to ensure our boundaries are secure.
If you feel uncomfortable with the fact that one of your EX-alliances is taking care of itself due to your ties, and you seek neutrality, you have the option to remove yourself from this war in a similar vein to some other ex-members of H? If not, that can only be taken as a statement you intend on not remaining neutral to other members of Consone, and any argument of neutrality is therefore null and void.
You are no longer in EE. You have no say in the trustworthyness of members you left in the way you did. Please refrain from doing so.
There is no reason for your mourning, or indeed this whole thread. EE is a strong alliance and will continue to grow and be strong.

Why is being scouted by an alliance at war with your current alliance deemed aggression? It's war, I would imagine if you don't want anyone looking over in your direction during war that you should leave the alliance in war with each other.
The idea that even in war, the fighting alliances should only hit targets who want to be hit is puzzling to me..

Much in the same way civilians don't want to be hit in war!

Depends on how you look at it, a civilian making ammunition for the war? a civilian creating weapons for the war?

They are not providing any aid what so ever to any other person involved in the war? Including selling/buying anything on the market

That is what I asked, if they are truly remaining neutral in an alliance in a war against someone else, why are they in that alliance?

You've already gotten an apology and a "it wont happen again." But you made this post anyway... why? What are you hoping to get out of it? do you want payment for your losses?
How much damage did the scouts do?
How much gold will it take to replace all of your troops you lost, and the resources that have been stolen?
