MT stand for Magma Termperature.
We are attempting to save our wonderfull woods that become ever more threathened as the population density in Illyriad rises, more and more people want more and more wood for heating, firing clay and ironworking. The way things are going we may be facing an arboreal collapse within the next 100 years. It is our hope that we may redue the need for wood by as much as 50% in cities installing a MT system. And thereby relieve a lot of the pressure on our woodlands. We elves are used to having space around us, and do not perform well in enclosed spaces such as tunnels. Dwarves on the other hand excel underground, and have been known to get nervous in the open where they cannot reach out and touch a wall. Therefore we desire to hire their services. Humans could probably be trained for the work, but why bother when so many dwarves already have the superlative skills and training required. The will be the first full scale MT system ever built. We have been doing smaller scale experiments up near the rift where lots of magma is readily awailable. Therefore we know that our insulation and tools are adequate, and that the our basic research is sound. I notice this is a dwarf recuitment thread...First of all let me say hello to one and all. Now onto business, as you may or may not be aware that time has come around again, the Orkympic Games are to be held this year, and my Stinkin' Town of S****horpe has been chosen to host the games and festivities.
As head of the S****horpe Organising Committee Of the Orkympic Games (SOCOG) I will be organising events. As you may be aware organising games of this magnitude is a logistical nighmare so I want to be prepared, on that note I will be requiring several thousand dwarfsies volunteers. Dwarfsies will be needed for the long dwarf jump, triple dwarf jump, dwarf hurdling, dwarf tossing, dwarf-putt and for general orksies festivities. If you feel this opportunity is the one for you feel free to send a CV to bansisdead. We will also be requiring Dwarfsies for the catering, though dwarfsies with an aversion to being orksies snacks need not apply. Thank you for your time... bansisdead |

I believe "MT" stands for mass transit, and Angua intends to build a road(Or something?). I've no idea what the underground part is about, or why dwarves are required. My other theory is that it's a coded message.
