Duuvian is confuzled

This is a post from the bay12 forums, to ambiguously provide some clarity:

"Last night I slandered in public an innocent person due to misinformation I had received in the past. I have thus resigned from the position of Expedition Leader of Slaves to Armok and requested that the alliance members form a decision making council in my absence. I will return in roughly one month from this date, possibly to join said council if they will have me. I will only login once or twice to ensure that my accounts remain active and not auto-deleted due to inactivity.

Some may say that this was unnecessary and extreme of me to do. I say that I will decide how best to handle my own mistakes and my own punishment. As such I've put myself under self imposed exile from my favorite game for the period of at least one month in the name of fairness to those I wronged last night. If my alliance requires my advice or other information from me they may reach me through this thread.

Until then, I expect them to hold the fort."    -Duuvian

You might want to edit out the troop information/tournament information.

It's been determined. It was blind dumb luck and the product of that misinformation. I am awaiting my judgement. I was wrong and Sunstorm is NOT AttillaTheHun.

Please contact Anjire for a copy of my apology. I may or may not be around Illyriad in the future; but I still wish the best community in all of game-dom the best. I sincerely apologize to everyone and Sunstorm in particular. He has done nothing wrong and I acted too rashly; before I even had spoken to both of my sitters. It wasn't the one I didn't trust whom I should have trusted as he proves himself every day. It was the one I did trust because he didn't know any better and was trying to win the tournament and did not know it was irreplaceable. The fact that it was Sunstorm who destroyed the army is incredible bad luck.

As such this whole situation is all my fault. For dragging Sunstorm's good name through the mud I hearby resign my position as Expedition Leader for StA and am putting in place a council of StA members to be more in line with our idea that we are all equals in StA. You may contact KillianBlack, Chaos Armor, or Loud Whispers; or any other StA member for diplomatic matters as they will most likely be able to contact someone who handles such things.

I myself I think I will more or less banish from Illyriad willingly. I would like to return some day however, though maybe not as a leader of StA. That said, I will try to keep the accounts active by logging in enough to keep them from self destructing due to inactivity. In addition this will keep those accounts available to StA to use as they see fit. Rest assured that I will not be making day to day decisions in StA however as of late I have proven myself unfit to lead.

When I return I will be sure to let you all know. Know that this community's company I have enjoyed more than any other and I will miss it while I am away. If you wish to speak to me you may private message me on the Bay12 forums where I use the name Duuvian.

Also know that everything that transpired was entirely my own snap decisions with no input from any other member of StA.
